I believe with all my heart that your photos should capture the essence of your real and authentic love story. My warm, true-to-color, photojournalistic style documents your every emotion through an unobtrusive, mindful photography experience.
Does this mean I'll leave you to fend for yourself in front of the camera? No way!

I pair super easy prompts with natural feeling poses to capture emotive images that you'll cherish forever. Prepare to let loose--there will be lots of PDA, perhaps a bit of cardio, and lots of corny jokes. We'll skip the stiff and awkward poses and unfold the true love story between you and your partner through giggle-worthy guidance, stolen glances, and bunny kisses.
By creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for you and your partner to feel at ease and enjoy your session or celebration, being "camera shy" won't even cross your mind--you'll be too busy staring into your lover's eyes.

THE EXCITING PROCESS
Here's step by step on what to expect when you book Jessica Erin Photos as your destination wedding, elopement, and/or engagement photographer...
01 - Easy Communication - As much or as little as you'd like!
Upon your inquiry, I'll follow up with an email response and a text message (incase my email goes to spam!). If you'd like to schedule an optional Zoom or phone call to meet and ask any questions, we'll find a time that works best for you! Life feeling crazy busy? No worries--we'll just stick to emailing.
02 - Sign the Contract & Pay the Deposit - Let's make it official!
With your signature on my contract and $1,000 non-refundable deposit, you've officially secured your "I do" date with me! Now the real fun begins...
03 - Fill out the "Get to Know You" Questionnaire & Mood Board (Optional) - Help paint the picture of your love!
This optional questionnaire is a wonderful way for me to understand your love and curate my style to bring out your personalities during your session. Love to serenade your partner with your guitar? Enjoy hiking through the woods together? Often picnic on the beach? Let's integrate what makes you and your partner, YOU, into your session.

04 - Engagement Session (Optional) - Let's meet up, hang out, and snap some incredible pictures!
An engagement session is the perfect way for us to get to know each other better and let you get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day! I'll send an engagement session guide that will help you plan locations, outfits, and activities to incorporate into your photo experience.
05 - Freak Out with Joy Over Your Photos - They're in your inbox, now share them with the world!
Use them for save the dates, frame them at your engagement party, upload them to your wedding website, and more!
06 - Photography Timeline - We'll work together to craft your perfect day.
I believe that photography should be unobtrusive and complimentary to your day, not domineering. I'll work with you and/or your wedding planner to create a specific photography timeline that allows for you to really enjoy the flow of the day, not just stand in front of a camera.
07 - Let's Celebrate Your Big Day! - It's finally here...let's gooooo!
It's your wedding day. It's FINALLY here! I'll be there early to scope out perfect locations, make quick fixes to your bridesmaid's dress (did I mention that I'm also a professional seamstress?), pin boutonnières on the groomsmen if needed, and help keep the timeline on track so you can just sit back and soak everything in.

Chances are I'll probably tear up during your vows, but will quietly and sneakily capture your mom wiping her's away as well. My second shooter will capture grandma clapping as you have your first kiss, and together we'll observe and document every memorable moment you see and don't see.
08 - Receive Your Memories - Delivered to Your Inbox
You'll receive sneak peeks from your day within 48 hours via a password protected digital gallery, and the rest of your photos within 4-8 weeks. You have full rights to download, share, and print all of your edited photos!
09 - Get Your Goodies - Delivered to Your Door
Every package includes a personalized USB preloaded with your photos and delivered to your door. This will keep your memories safe for years to come! You'll also have the opportunity to print your photos directly from your gallery--regular prints, framed canvases, and so much more! I also offer custom photo album creation--giving you back more time with your honey and less time having to be a graphic designer.

How do I secure my wedding date?I require a $1000 non-refundable deposit and a signed contract in order to officially reserve your date on my calendar. I handle inquiries on a first-book basis, so if you’re ready to book don’t wait!

Do you take custom editing style requests?Due to the vast amount of time and experience with my signature style, as well as to best serve my clients and surpass expectations, I refrain from taking custom editing requests.

What types of payment do you accept?I accept credit card, Venmo, Zelle, and Taylor Swift tickets!

Do you travel?Yes! I’m based in Virginia, but I love to travel! I already have my bags packed and ready to go. For Virginia & East Coast Weddings, I include travel up to an 8 hour drive from Virginia Beach. Looking to tie the knot father than 8 hours away? I've got you covered. Travel beyond my 8 hour radius is only a flat fee of $500!

How many images will I receive? Do I get the raw/unedited images?For engagement sessions, you will receive anywhere from 100-150 edited photos and for weddings anywhere from 400-800 edited photos. Honestly, I shoot THOUSANDS of photos during engagement sessions and weddings. This is to make sure that I can deliver a number of great images with no one blinking and capture the best moments. I do not give out the RAW photos because they are very large files, so you will receive your images in JPEG format delivered via an online gallery.

What is your turnaround time?For engagement sessions, you will receive the final images delivered within 2-3 weeks. For weddings, you will receive sneak peeks within 24 hours of the wedding date and the final images within 4-8 weeks, so I can give each and every photo the attention it needs.

Is there a deposit required to book my Engagement Session?Yep! There is a $200, non-refundable deposit to book your Engagement Session. Don't worry, you can reschedule up to 2 times if needed!
